PRODUCT & SPECIFICATIONS

  • Alpenglobe designs and manufactures the product. We build and sell the globes. We don't operate dining experiences or take reservations. For bookings at venues that feature Alpenglobes, please contact those venues directly or visit our Find a Globe page.

  • Alpenglobes start at $16,900 depending on wood species and configuration. We provide specific pricing once we understand your venue and what you need. Contact us to get started and one of our experts will help you build out an Alpenglobe configuration that’s perfect for your specific needs, then price it all out for you.

  • Approximately 6-8 weeks currently. We can get you a better idea about how long your project will take if you get in touch and provide a few details.

SHIPPING & INSTALLATION

  • The Alpenglobe has a 10-foot by 10-foot octagonal footprint and stands 9 feet tall, weighing approximately 2,000 pounds. However, if you’re looking for something custom or another sizing configuration, get in touch, because we may be able to provide additional options.

  • Standard seating is 5 to 6 guests with table and chairs. With the bench and backrest package, the globe seats 8 to 10.

  • Yes. The heating system and marine-grade materials handle year-round outdoor exposure. A heavy-duty heating upgrade is available for colder climates. A shade package is available for summer programming, and we can outline some options for A/C in the summertime. Get in touch

  • A dedicated 20-amp circuit. An electrical package is available as an add-on. Lighting, heating, and configuration details are covered during the quote process.

  • Two options: African Sapele hardwood with marine-grade varnish, or sustainably sourced Pine with premium stain and sealer. UV-resistant polycarbonate windows. Hand-crafted in the USA.   • Yes. Wood species, finish, electrical configuration, and accessories are all customizable. Talk to us about your venue, and we’ll have some ideas and options for you to make your build ideal for your use-case.

PRICING & PURCHASING

  • Most owners charge a reservation fee per 90-minute slot, from $30 at a casual neighborhood restaurant to $500 at an upscale urban rooftop. Many add a food and beverage minimum. Some run a VIP tier for high-demand nights. Truth is, you can do whatever you want. We do have some insights about what we’ve seen work well, however. Get in touch and we’ll gladly offer what we can about what we’ve learned.

  • Results vary by venue, market, and pricing strategy. Documented performance at existing venues includes full cost recovery in year one, among a whole host of other exciting returns. Check out our case studies.

  • Yes. The shade package, ventilation and A/C options make warm-weather programming viable. Many venues run their globes year-round, but it’ll depend on your specific use case and situation. Let’s talk it over.
